German town seeks to confuse drivers

"Generally speaking, what we want is for people to be confused," said Willi Ladner, a deputy mayor in Bohmte. "When they're confused, they'll be more alert and drive more carefully."

When has anyone ever done as much for cyclists? However, we are not the only beneficiaries. A similar program in The Netherlands produced a 95% drop in the accident rate!

Thanks to Steve Fox for this eye opener.
