I'm with you on promoting bike riding for kids, Dottie. Sadly bikes are rare at my hometown's high school because they're not considered cool by the kids. One of the local bike shops here talks about kids who are routinely driven three blocks to school!
Anyway, making bikes fun again would be the way to change all that.
What a great way to get kids into bikes! Must have been a lot of fun.
