I'm hoping we will see more ergonomic thinking in the future. The racing bicycle has the worst possible ergonomics, placing the machine first and the rider second in every category that matters. I'm told most $5,000 racing bikes end up in the garage or on ebay in two to three years, while the riders end up on a chiropractor's table. A human centered bicycle could begin with the classic Dutch "work bikes" and develop from there.
Nice velomobile!
ReplyDeleteIt shows that cycling has so much evolution in store for it.
