Two weeks ago it looked like this here in Bayside (Arcata's "suburb").
My neighbor Cathy drove to Portland and brought home a new Ice Trike. As we get older and balance becomes an issue we're all going to end up on trikes if we want to keep riding a bike.
Trikes bring out your inner 3 year old. No learning curve. Just get on and go! And if you want to stop on the upside of a hill, there's no need to unclip or dismount.
You can pack for a day or a week. Cathy uses this setup for grocery shopping.
Two weeks have passed since those bright, sunny days. Alas, living in the northwest rainforest does, occasionally, include a bit of rain.
