Summer?

Every year at this time I trot out one of Arcata's palm trees. It then gets warmer.

The more you stop (on bike rides) the more you see.

Erected on the edge of a shopping center in McKinleyville, the world's largest totem pole rises over 160 feet. Say what you will about the setting, totem poles are one of the world's highest art forms. Any excuse and I'll include this gorgeous creature on a bike ride.
