Why Cycle
A tip of the helmet to D. Nelson for this dreamy video from Holland. This is what your town--and your life--could look like if cycling was a social priority.
Ah yes, the visions of cycling utopia—they're always refreshing and motivating! This was especially nice coming on the heels of the utterly depressing story about the stolen kid's bikes (25 April). Sometimes there's hope and sometimes there's beat-your-head-against-a-wall frustration.
Well, there's some good news on the stolen kids bikes. Apparently, the community pitched in nicely and most (maybe all, soon!) of the kids have bikes again as well as a lesson in the value of a good community.
